After the success of the “50 Boreholes in Guinea” challenge, Eau Z’Enfants and its partners are launching an even more ambitious initiative. We plan to build 57 boreholes exclusively within schools in remote villages, particularly in the prefecture of Blitta.

The result of a local collaboration:
After an in-depth assessment of the needs in remote villages of the Blitta prefecture, our team launched the project in December 2022. To carry it out successfully, we worked closely with the Togolese government, our partner, and our local Eau Z’Enfants team.
Our goal is to fund the construction of 57 boreholes. With your support and the valuable experience we gained from our past achievements in Guinea, we are fully committed to making this happen.
Building a borehole takes between 6 to 12 months. This timeline may seem long, but it includes a mandatory pause during the rainy season to ensure proper and safe drilling operations.
In total, the construction of the 57 boreholes will span over 2 to 3 years.By the end of this period, more than 9,000 children living in the most remote villages of Togo will have daily access to clean drinking water.
