Sponsorship makes it possible to sustainably improve the living conditions of a vulnerable child and all the children in their community by giving them access to what they need to grow up well: go to school, eat properly, and receive medical care.
Sponsoring a child is a powerful act of generosity
Africa has the youngest population in the world. Eau Z’Enfants is active in Togo and Guinea, where 40% of the population is between 0 and 14 years old.
Living conditions across the continent are harsh: disease, malnutrition, extreme poverty, conflict, and climate change are all contributing factors that sadly leave many children abandoned and alone.
This situation makes them extremely vulnerable, and without support, they are left to fend for themselves.
Sponsorship helps to sustainably improve a child's quality of life. Thanks to this support, the child gains stability in their daily life and can return to school, paving the way to a brighter future.
Sponsorship creates an unbreakable bond between two people from different backgrounds. It allows the sponsored child to be supported, encouraged, and valued. Through this initiative, the child feels less alone. It is an opportunity to share a meaningful experience with a child on the other side of the world.
They are children aged 1 to 18 living in orphanages or families. These are children who are orphaned of one or both parents, street children, abused or exploited children, or children from families in extreme poverty who are unable to meet their child's needs.
Sponsorship covers the daily living expenses of a child. Your donation helps to finance, on one hand, their education:

Receive the registration form to complete within 48 hours.
Receive all the information to ensure your sponsorship is carried out under the best conditions.
Receive by mail the profile sheet and photo of the sponsored child you support.
Maintain the bond with your sponsored child through our communication channels via WhatsApp, email, video calls, and postal mail. It is also possible to visit your sponsored child (see conditions in the FAQ section).
You will receive an individual report at the end of each year about the progress of your sponsored child, including information about their health, school performance, leisure activities, and living conditions.
Note: The EZE Association cannot control certain external factors (internet networks in the country, geopolitical instability, market economic situation, etc.) that may impact exchanges with the sponsored children and our local partners. Despite the instability in Sub-Saharan Africa , our teams will always do their best to provide updates on the children and maintain the sponsor-child connection.
If you have any questions, you can contact us by email at parrainage@eauzenfants.fr or
directly via WhatsApp with your assigned sponsorship coordinator. She will handle all
communications related to sponsorship or concerning the association.
Please note that our sponsorship coordinators are volunteers who do their best
to your inquiries as quickly and thoroughly as possible. However, they may be affected
the conditions and challenges in the children's countries, particularly regarding the possibility
and frequency of exchanges between sponsors and sponsored children.
Beforehand:
1. Registration on the sponsorship waiting list
2. Phone interview with a sponsorship coordinator, as soon as a child sponsorship becomes available
3. Response by email (positive or negative)
If the response is positive:
1. You will receive a personal information form (name, surname, bank details, sponsorship amount, etc.)
2. A presentation sheet of your sponsored child will be sent by mail or email
You will be added to the sponsors’ WhatsApp group, where you can receive group photos of the
orphanage children, updates, and more.
3. It is important to note that the sponsorship coordinators will contact you directly via
WhatsApp. The integration process will be completed within three weeks.
If I pay my sponsorship by direct debit:
A rejected payment will be resubmitted and may incur bank fees.
Yes, absolutely. Just let us know by email, and we will send you a link to complete a new form (this will include setting up a new direct debit mandate and cancelling the previous one).
For annual payments, changes
can only be made once a year, at
the end of the current mandate.
A donation (whether through sponsorship or a contribution to the fundraising pool) made to the association EAU Z’ENFANTS entitles you to
a tax deduction of up to 75%!
Your tax receipt will be sent to you automatically by email each year in January.
They are intended for children aged 1 to 18 living in orphanages or
with families. These children may be orphans (of one or both parents), street children, victims
of abuse or exploitation, or children from families living in extreme poverty who are unable to meet their basic needs.
Your donation helps fund school registration fees, educators' salaries, school supplies, the making of uniforms and shoes, medical care, food supplies, hygiene kits, and extracurricular activities/outings.
Donations are sent directly to our local teams, who manage the funding of the children's and orphanages' needs without intermediaries. This includes education, healthcare, and nutrition.

more than 10 years, but it may also
end sooner for
several reasons:
If you wish to end your sponsorship, you must inform us as soon as possible by email (parrainage@eauzenfants.fr). Please note that the following month after receiving your disengagement, a payment will be processed to cover the period of finding a new sponsor.
Regarding your sponsored child, we will inform them of the change of sponsor and reassure them. We will find someone who can continue to support them as you have done. If you wish, you can still contribute to the sponsorship fund from time to time to continue helping the children at your level.
To do so, simply visit our website and choose from the various ongoing projects (well construction, school rehabilitation, providing a better life, etc.). Additionally, there is a voluntary contribution fund specifically for sponsorship. The donations received will go directly to the sponsorship budget, benefiting the children for activities, outings, orphanage renovations, and more. No donation is more valuable than another: every contribution, whether small or large, is useful and appreciated. You are free to support us according to your ability.
